Bishop Evans Onyemara Leads CCN Delegation to ELIF 2026, Champions Ethical Leadership for National Transformation

ABUJA, Nigeria | June 30, 2026 – The General Secretary of the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN), Rt. Rev. Evans Onyemara, Ph.D., is leading a delegation of CCN representatives to the ELIF 2026 National Training and Advocacy Events in Abuja.

The programme, themed “Strengthening Ethical Leadership for National Transformation,” is a collaborative initiative of Globethics and the All Africa Conference of Churches – Commission on Ethics, Transparency and Accountability (AACC-CETA). It is being held at the Daughters of Divine Love Retreat and Conference Centre (DRACC), Lugbe, Abuja, bringing together church leaders, development practitioners, Church-Related Organisations (CCROs), Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), and other stakeholders.

The training focuses on promoting ethical leadership, accountability, transparency, justice, and inclusive governance within faith-based institutions and society.

Participants are engaging in dialogue, learning, and collaboration aimed at strengthening leadership values and developing practical strategies for addressing ethical challenges while fostering national transformation.

The Christian Council of Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to promoting integrity, justice, peace, and responsible leadership as essential pillars for sustainable development in Nigeria and across Africa.
