The Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) is committed to fostering a strong spirit of ecumenism and collaboration among its member churches.
In a significant step toward this goal, the General Secretary of the CCN, Rt. Rev. Dr. Evans Onyemara, paid a courtesy visit to the Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), the Most Rev. Dr. Henry Ndukuba.
The visit took place at the Anglican Church’s National Secretariat, also known as St. Matthias House, in Gudu, Abuja.
The purpose of the visit was twofold: to provide a personal familiarization to the Primate and to seek his fatherly blessings on the CCN’s mission, particularly in Abuja.
The meeting also provided a platform for both church leaders to discuss matters of mutual interest, including the upcoming CCN General Assembly.
The atmosphere of the visit was marked by unity and mutual respect.
The Primate received the CCN General Secretary warmly, a sign of the deep bond that exists between the two Christian bodies.

The discussion underscored the importance of unity among Christian denominations, especially as the Church navigates the complex social and political landscape of Nigeria.
This visit by the CCN General Secretary to Primate Ndukuba highlights the commitment of the CCN to its member churches and its continued effort to promote peace and togetherness.
Photos from the visit have been shared, serving as a powerful visual reminder of this moment of fellowship and partnership.
This continued collaboration and strategic engagement with key church leaders will undoubtedly strengthen the ongoing work of the CCN and its preparation for the upcoming General Assembly.
