CCN General Secretary Celebrates Primate Henry Ndukuba on Birthday, Commends His Exemplary Leadership

ABUJA, Nigeria | July 20, 2026 — The General Secretary of the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN), The Rt. Rev. Evans Onyemara, Ph.D., has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), The Most Rev. Henry Chukwudum Ndukuba, Ph.D., describing him as a courageous spiritual leader whose ministry continues to inspire the Church and strengthen the Body of Christ.

In a goodwill message issued to mark the Primate’s birthday, Rt. Rev. Onyemara expressed profound gratitude to God for His sustaining grace upon the life of the Anglican leader, noting that his years of faithful service have left an enduring impact on the Church in Nigeria and beyond.

“Birthdays are more than milestones. They are reminders of God’s sustaining hand, His abiding presence, and His continued purpose for our lives,” the General Secretary stated. “Today, we celebrate not only the gift of your life but also the remarkable impact of your ministry and leadership on the Church, our nation, and the global Anglican Communion.”

The CCN General Secretary commended the Primate for his steadfast commitment to the Gospel, biblical orthodoxy, Christian unity, and national transformation, describing his leadership as a source of hope and encouragement for Christians across denominational lines.

He also appreciated the Primate’s invaluable partnership with the Christian Council of Nigeria in advancing ecumenical cooperation, peacebuilding, evangelism, and the collective witness of the Church in Nigeria.

Rt. Rev. Onyemara prayed that God would continue to renew the Primate’s strength, grant him sound health, divine wisdom, and greater grace for the responsibilities of his office.

He further prayed that the Lord would preserve him for many more years of fruitful ministry, enlarge his influence for the advancement of God’s Kingdom, and bless his family with peace, joy, and abundant favour.
