CCN and Dorothy Njemanze Foundation Discuss Collaboration on Gender Based Violence

Abuja – August 5, 2025

The Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) hosted representatives from the Dorothy Njemanze Foundation at its National Secretariat in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, today.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss collaboration on critical issues, including sexual issues and gender-based violence (GBV).

The General Secretary of the CCN, Rt. Rev. Dr. Evans Onyemara welcomed the Foundation with great enthusiasm, and the meeting provided an opportunity for both organizations to understand each other’s work.

The Foundation’s team shared details about their forthcoming GBV programs, which are scheduled to be held in Abuja next week, and formally invited the CCN to participate.

The General Secretary expressed the Council’s joy for the visit and its strong support for the Foundation’s initiatives. He also took time to brief the visitors on the activities of the CCN, highlighting the Council’s commitment to social issues.
